On their blog, Customer Identification, Identity Document Review, they have stated that they have already implemented CIP and request customer to upload their identification.

When I checked my account, there was a spend restriction and in order to lift that spend restriction, I had to upload my documents….

Which I did… so I guess eGold is on it’s way to regain back it’s credibility… We shall see if merchants will continue to use eGold….

In the mean time, I have to start strategizing my HYIP escapade again…. hehe

They are slowly putting into place what they have promised they would do to improve the credibility of eGold currencies. They have since recently (19 Sept 2008) enhance their Customer Identification Program and also working with KPMG (One of the Big Four Firms) to improve on their Anti Money Laundering Program.

I guess there are still a lot of work to do on eGold’s behalf.

Now these are great news, especially for me as I am still holding some eGold in my account. This could be a risky opportunity as I mention before but it seems like exchangers seems to have gloomier news than I have currently and they don’t seem to want to share it.

I am concluding this because because exchangers seem to be lowering their selling price for eGold… It makes no sense… with this official news from eGold I would assume that price for eGold would maintained on the ‘wait and see’ stance.

So either it is a good opportunity or these exchangers have much more bad news about eGold then I know… or it could just be a simple demand and supply for this currency…

Contemplating on whether I should start funding the new AlterGold account, which seems to be the spreading like wild fire in HYIP… Shit!! That means dumping more money into HYIP!!

I just got reality to hit me hard, because of all this many exchangers have stopped making out exchange for egolds and those who would be doing that exchange are offering crazy crazy rates, like 90% to 95% service fee.

Damn!! Now my egold is stuck and the value of my egold is almost close to nothing…

And I thought I was happy and proud that I manage to come out in profit when I restarted playing my HYIP escapade.

This sucks… and it really sucks bad.

Nevertheless, I believe there should be an opportunity somewhere in this situation. As an old Chinese saying goes, ‘With crisis comes both danger and opportunity’.

This is Chinese Character for Crisis, and each means danger and crisis.

WIth egold in crisis at the moment, there is a danger in losing ones value of gold, but on the other hand there also should be opportunity that exist in this situation.

Having known what the danger is, which is losing the value of my account, I also thought if there were any opportunity that might come out of this situation with egold.

Now it has been said that, eGold will revamp their policies to be in line with rules and regulations set to deter money-laundering ,child pornography and all the other vices which has eGold got stucked with all these years of operation.

So they set a deadline to complete the policies reforms by November 2008 which hopefully carries some weight in the sentencing of the three directors who pleaded guilty. (Their sentencing would be on the 20 November 2008)

With that in mind, I believe eGold should get itself back on track in the next few months and hopefully by then the price would be stable and improve once again.

Now I have notice that there are some people or rather exchangers who would not mind holding on to eGold, before firstly it has already been backed by gold, without a doubt even though, the founder and it’s directors are or will be in jail, life SHOULD go on with egold no?

I mean, the gold that we are suppose to have in forms of digital currency just can’t disappear right?? Unless, some fucked up government will confiscate it and take it for themselves. Or if egold currency was never backed up with gold.

Anyway, according to Douglas Jackson, the gold reserve are stored in Europe so the US gomen might not be able to touch it.

So, it is HIGHLY LIKELY that eGold would stablize itself and so will the price or exchange rates provided by the eCurrency exchanger.

With that in mind, I believe it will be an opportunity to start accumulating slowly some more eGold and then hope to sell it come end of the year when price would be good.

Surprisingly, LargeSum is still going strong. But I guess not for long…. still I can’t resist the temptation to reinvest in LargeSum again….

Secondly it’s SafeAtom. 2% daily!!! Something tells me that it is fishy…. but it has been around like for 200 plus days….. So why not…. hehe

It will take me 50 days to recoup my capital… after that it is profit…. We shall see…..

This time round I think I will go in small. As in only two programs for the time being until these two programs dies off or until I see something that comes out of my HYIP radar…..

Call me lazy but forex EA seems to be one of the best thing technology has breed. Forex EA (Forex Expert Advisor) is a automatic forex trading program, software or script.

Now I am slowly moving towards Forex EA from HYIP because of some of the following reasons

1. I’m lazy and am looking for someone to trade for me In HYIP I expect someone to trade for me with a promise of a certain returns where else in Forex EA, a robots trade for me
2. I want to make money without the hassle that is the reason for HYIP to exist, people like me want to make as much money as we can while sitting around doing nothing. That is what HYIP offers. Forex EA also offers the same thing but with one advantage….
3. I want to have more control in HYIP, I totally do not have any control over my deposit. In Forex EA, I have total control over my money
4. Less stress now in HYIP the stress is there when you believe that you have been scammed, then you start to panic and then start to shout out about in the forum ANGRY and DISSAPOINTED. In Forex EA, the issue it that you may be scammed for the system that you bought may not work is minimal, because some Forex EA seller do offer money back guarantee which is begin regulated by their payment processor.
5. I don’t have time or skills to trade forex. On top of being lazy I do not have the time and skill to sit around all day and glue your face to the charts to find entry and exit…. Forex EA does it for you… That is what intrigues me so much about automatic trading.

I believe Forex EA is the trend and it seems that it is becoming more and more popular. But still it has not taken over HYIP yet.

Well, in due time when HYIP players begin to realize the power of forex EA they will slowly move towards it and HYIP naysayers will have their day.

The only big problem with Forex EA is that there are quite a few forex EA around and non or rather most of them does not delivered the kind of profit that is expected and they are very expensive. I for one has experiences a few forex EA. And I must say, most of the EA I purchases are well… to put it crudely ARE SHIT!

But that is all about to change…. I have spent a couple of weeks testing out a few forex EA and found one that has been very profitable to me and I must say in a very consistent manner.

So if you are still in HYIP…. then that is about to change.

I’m going to go all out to promote this forex EA that has been my own personal HYIP that has been earning me 1% daily and sometimes more.

According to HYIP Accounting Software I am up by 672.00…. Basically I have recouped my initial deposit + have made $672…… Great isn’t it?? Actually I am only about in profit of about $583 that is because $89 goes to egold on fees.

Anyhow, I believe I have started out with about $1,300 and for a return of $583 is pretty good no?

Yes it’s pretty good… even after I had a bad start….

But somehow my interests in HYIP is beginning to dwindle. Mainly because most of the programs which shows a lot of promise seems to have problem with egold either they discontinue using egold or they no longer use egold as an option. And I only use egold, I just don’t have the energy to open and maintain other gold account like liberty reserve, e-bullion or even the up and coming c-gold.

So it’s pretty sad… but I also will no longer be as gung ho in HYIP as I use to. After having applied my strategy for the pass few months, I will be more selective in my choice of programs.

I’m now more focus on internet and forex which seems to be making me as much for me as I have in HYIP. I will share with you more about my other escapade on my next entry.

For me, I am not going to change must in terms of presentation or the outlook of my site. I love my outlook, because it born out of my sweat and tears. While it may not look professionally great, it looks good somehow.

Ok, enough bragging.

The changes will only be a modification of what I had previously, which is a category for paying, pending and closed program section. I believe I should start keeping a detail journal of all these programs that I have participated. The journal will be much more detailed that my ‘Program Performance‘ page.

Well… life will go on for me in HYIP…

Getting a refund….. It is so rare, that you can count it with one hand. And I have the pleasure to have my first count.

In July 07, there was a new program called Global Film Fund created by a guy call Gary. Due diligences was done by a panel of veteran HYIP players GoldenTalk Forum. So since due diligences was done by these great people, I had the opportunity to also get involve in this program.

But after a few weeks, news has it that this program was not allowed to seeks funds as a ‘loan’ after issues started to crop up with programs like legisi.com…

So the program had to be closed even before it could take off…. Now the problem was a few days after the launch the program owner Gary had already paid out all referral fees to those involve and when refund started to kicked in, Gary did not have enough to pay everyone back… me included.

And he had assured us that when he has the money again he would surely would refund the rest of the members money. Now since this is a very rare situation, I have already written this off as a lose in my book.

A few days ago, I received an email from Gary asking me if it was ok to refund me via paypal without going through the hassle of buying into e-gold and then paying us off. I agreed and the next thing I knew, I had my money in my paypal account….

What a surprise!
